Had an interesting eft session with a new friend. She had wanted to work on creating more wealth using her abundance of knowlege and healing, yet didn't like to accept money.
She believed it was bad and wrong to accept money for spiritual healing. On a scale of 1-10, she was 7 level of discomfort thinking about accepting money.
When I asked her if she ever gave people money for spiritual help, guidance or healing and she said yes. When i asked if that was normal she said yes.
It was wrong for her she believed because her previous mentor had told her it was wrong to accept money.
We tapped on that for bit and I could feel that we still were not where we needed to be and I tried to explore any other issues from her current life that would explain this resistance to bringing money in. I had remembered a conversation we had had a few weeks earlier about the thought that we had been burned at the stake for being a witch in a past lifetime. I asked her if she thought that is what was going on in this case. The answer was no, but "it was probably due to her most recent life that was "too easy". She didn't have to work very hard to get what she wanted and hired others to do the manual and menial tasks." She believed that she needed to work hard in this lifetime to make up for the ease of the previous lifetime.
We tapped on that in various forms for about 20 minutes and the thought that she had to work very hard to get money and the fact that she didn't deserve money unless she worked hard.
By the end of 45 minutes or so, she was down to a 1 on the discomfort level of allowing money to flow into her life.
Moral of the story, triggers can be hidden anywhere even in past lives!
